I suggest looking out for "The Farm: Life Inside Angola Prison" documentary on cable especially if you have seen any of the Supermax docs out there. Try this mind-boggling, in that it's meaning goes beyond symbolic, factoid. Angola, Louisiana is named for the home of the African slaves that worked the plantations that are now the fields worked by the inmates doing hard labor.
